Reginald Everett Parker Sr (Reggie), A resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, reunited with his mother and oldest brother on February 9, 2022. He was born on May 2, 1979, to Garland Parker and Mattie Ann Swafford, both of whom preceded him in death.

Reggie graduated from Cleveland High School, Class of 1998, where he was a multiple-sport athlete and a member of the 3X State Championship football team. After high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps where he earned the rank of Sergeant.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Reggie served his community his entire life formally as a member of the 100 Black Men of Bradley County and daily in the lives of anyone he came across.

He was a loving husband to Amber Christine Parker of Cleveland, TN, and a loving father to seven amazing children. Reginald Everett Parker Jr (24) and his wife Maranda Parker (24) of Cleveland, TN., Andre Orenthial James Parker (21) of Martin, TN., Eric Donovan Parker (20) of Knoxville, TN., Jakyra Marie and Makya Dianne (15), Gage Isaiah (14), and Kymze Mikelle (12) of Cleveland, TN.

Reginald was preceded in death by his mother Mattie Ann Swafford, his father Garland Parker, and his brother Tony Blair. His legacy lives through his brothers Adafo Blair, Troy, and Barry Parker.

He had a massive impact on anyone who had the privilege to know him and a thousand-watt smile that would brighten your whole life. He was always going out of his way to make sure everyone around him was taken care of. And it goes without saying that children and dogs were Mr. Reggie’s favorite people. He has left a legacy far greater than he ever imagined and the lack of his presence will be felt throughout the community. He is loved, missed, and remembered by many. May he rest in peace.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, East and Inman Street Cleveland, TN with pastor, Rev. Edward S. Robinson, Sr. officiating. In compliance with COVID-19, there will be a walk-through visitation from 3:00 p.m.until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Mask are required. Interment will follow the service at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
