Joann Brown- Jones age 69 of Cleveland, TN, passed July 8, 2023 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She attended Cleveland High School, and was employed as a seamstress with Hardwick Clothing for over 15 years. Joann loved her family, and having them around her. She attended Christian Fellowship Center of Cleveland, TN. and her desire was that her family come to know Jesus as their personal Savior.
She is preceded in death by her parents Margaret Mack Brown & John Lemon, son William O. Brown, grand parents, Luke and Jennie Mack, brothers, Tony Brown, James Hardy Brown, sisters Margie Brown- Ramsey, and Johnnie Brown, aunts Bennie Mae Knox, Daisy Phillips and Mialice Smith, uncles Robert ( Betty) McMahan, and Walter McMahan and special cousins, Jacques McMahan, Gary McMahan, Perez McMahan, Senida Greenhill, and Mary Greenhill, and Harvey Lee Mack, nephew, Dezi Whaley, and great-nephew Dexter Lovelace.
Survivors include her children, April Michelle (Vernon) Bramlett, Phillip(Katie) Tyrone Brown, Leslie (Calvin) Ross, Dionte Moore, Maurice Parks, grandchildren, Courtney Birt, Tyra Gates, LaJayla Summers, Tay’Veona Taylor, Laura Bramlett, brothers and sisters, Thomas Brown, Vonziel Brown, Charles (Natalie) Brown and Eugene Brown all of Cleveland, TN. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, and special friend Brenda Reynolds
Graveside Services will be held Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cleveland, TN., with Pastor Martha Tibbs officiating.
