Wilma Moore

Wilma Dean Moore age 71 was born in Charleston, Tn on August 3, 1946 and passed away at home on January 2, 2018 in Charleston after bravely battling illness for a number of years.

She was a devoted and long time member of Watson Chapel A.M.E Zion Church of Charleston, TN and a faithful employee of Bradley Memorial Hospital where she retired after 39 of service.

Wilma was proceeded in death by her father and mother Wilbur Moore Jr. and Lillian O. Moore both of Charleston, TN.

She leaves to mourn her passing, three devoted children, Audrey Moore of Charleston, TN, Patrick(Tamika) Douglas of Riceville, TN, and Courtney Moore of Cleveland, TN. Three loving grandchildren, Tyler Dunn of Charleston, TN, Braxton Douglas and Harper Douglas both of Riceville, TN. Seven brothers and sisters, Patricia Morris of Cleveland, TN, Jeannette Bayless, Elizabeth Brice both of Charleston, TN, Wilbur(Peggy) Moore III of Riceville, TN, Andrew(Betty)Moore of Charleston, TN, Iva Moore of Charleston, TN, and Ricky(Benita) Moore Jr. of Ooltewah, TN. A multitude of nephews, and nieces, including a special niece, Connie(Keith) Crenshaw of Charleston, TN. Extended sister, Gail Parris of Charleston, TN, extended son Melvin(Paige) Graham of Charleston, TN, special friend Diane Gains and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Watson Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church with Rev. Joe Holmes officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes before the service from 1:30 until 2:00 at the church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
