Walter Brown

Walter Henry Brown , age 68 of Cleveland passed away on Monday June 19, 2017. He was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church in Calhoun and attended JL Cook High School in Athens, Tennessee. He was also a retired baker from the well known Bishop Bakery Shop.

He is preceded in death by his mother Lizzie Mae Brown and father William A. Brown, Sisters, Tresa Bridger, Willie Brown, and Alberta Stevenson; Brothers George Brown, James Brown, Howard Brown, Robert Brown, and William Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Josephine Brown. Two sons, Alfred Townes-Taylor, Shawn Townes (Chenoa) , Eight grandchildren, Jada Nicole Taylor, Davonte Taylor, Tayshawn Taylor, Jaylen Thomas, Journie Thomas, Laila Taylor, D’Andre Taylor, and Tallulah Townes; Brothers, Paul Brown of Calhoun, David Brown and Charles Brown of Cleveland, and Roy Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana;

Sisters Margaret Smith of Athens, Tennessee, Donnie Rodgers and Betty Thompson of Calhoun,TN, Dorothy Huskin of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mary Massengill and Lorraine Hasslers of Cleveland, Tennessee. Sister-in-law Edwina Amos (Allen) of Nashville, Tennessee and a host of nieces and nephews and others relatives.
