Timothy Edwin “Sonny” Lowe, 73 of Cleveland, TN, passed away suddenly, from this life to his eternal resting place, with the Lord on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Tennova Hospital.

Tim was born on April 1, 1948, in Cleveland, TN, to Tilman and Mary Catherine (Knox) Lowe.

He attended College Hill High School in Cleveland, TN. After high school, he went to work, something he had done from an early age, for various large car dealerships in the Cleveland area.

He enjoyed hanging with family and friends, talking, laughing and enjoying their company. He was the historian of the family. He could remember people, places, events and facts which everyone else had forgotten or did not know! He was a smart, caring, and loving person. He will be missed!

He was preceded in death by his father, Tilman Lowe and wife Annette Goldston Lowe, two aunts, Ella Ruth Langham, and Adella Jones, uncle and aunt Jack and Onella Lowe Sr., cousins, Ben Langham, and Garland Langham, and brother-in-law Previce Hardaway, and a great aunt Ora Cates.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Catherine Lowe; brothers, Kenneth Edward Lowe (Selina), West Virginia, Alfonzo Lowe, Florida, sisters Sherry Lowe-Cooke (Norman), Georgia, Cynthia Hardaway, Athens, TN, Gwillen Lowe, Cleveland, TN, Cathy Y. Lowe, Cleveland, TN, Louvenia Wells, Cleveland, TN; Cousin, Jack Lowe, Jr. and his children, Bobby, Jackie, and Lyndon Lowe all of Gaston, Alabama and Sylvia Lowe of Austin, Texas. Step-children, Carla Blair, Carolyn Blair French, and Kerry Blair, several nieces and nephews; and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Cleveland, TN., with Pastor Rhonda Westfield officiating Internment will be at Fort Hill Cemetery, Cleveland, TN

There will be a walk-through visitation from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In compliance with Covid-19 mask are require and all are asked to practice social distancing.
