Tamara Coward

Tamara Shontae Coward was born April 13th, 2001 to her parents, the late Myniesha (Coward) Smith and Christopher Brabson in Athens Tennessee. Tamara was called home to be with Our Heavenly Father and her mother on February 3RD, 2024. She attended Athens Public Schools and graduated from Science Hill High School in Johnson City, Tennessee. Tamara was a loving and kind soul. She loved hanging out with her sisters & brothers. She brought light to everyone she met. Tamara was known to be a workaholic and was employed as a claim’s analyst at Advanced Call Center Technologies.

Tamara was the granddaughter of the late Calvin Jones, Maragret Ann Nash, and James A Brabson, niece of the late Thomas “Buddah” Coward, Lia (Coward) Brown, and Renee Brian.

She leaves to Cherish her memories, her father Christopher Brabson, her sisters Tahjilyn Coward, Keyonna Benson and Taylyn Brabson, her brothers Tashaun Coward, TJ Smith, Tyler, and Austin Rowland. Her grandmother Helen Howard. She leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She had a special bond with her aunt Trece Barrett and cousins Tyrone Brown and         Brabson

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Niota, TN. with pastor Rev. Ryan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
