Sammie Gene Ramsey

Sammie Gene Ramsey age 68 passed Monday, November 4, 2024 at a hospice facility in Chattanooga TN.

She was a member of MT. Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church and was know for helping to raise many of the children in that community area.

She is preceded in death by her mother Margaret Ann Smith, and brother Thomas Brown. 

Survivors include a nephew, Thomas Blair, and many aunts, Dorothy Huskins, and Lorraine Hassler of Indianapolis, Indiana, Betty (Calvin) Thompson, and Donnie Rogers of Calhoun, TN, and Mary Massengill of Calhoun, TN. Uncles, Paul Brown, and Charles Brown of Calhoun, TN, David Brown of Cleveland, TN., and Roy Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana. Special friend Darsha Westfield, many cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 9,2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Cleveland, TN with Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Services of loving memory entrusted to M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Cleveland, TN.
