Roseline Porte, 93 , of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents Clemen and Victoria Gibson and husband, Rufus Porte and grandson Rashad Goldston. She was born April 30,1928 in Monrovia, Liberia and moved to Cleveland in 1980.
She is survived by her children, Algernon(Estelle) Porte, John(Manel) Porte, Edward (Leona) Porte, Margie (Nathaniel) Goodridge, Rexie Porte( Ernest)-Streeter, Deken (Chris) Canady, Sonie Porte and James Gray as well as 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 25, 2021 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at 11 am located at 320 Broad St. NW, Cleveland, Tennessee officiated by Father Joel Huffstetler. Visitation by friends will be one hour before the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 .
Burial will be held directly following services at Sunset Memorial Gardens 7180 Lee Hwy, Cleveland, TN. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and messages of support during this difficult time.
