Robert Anthony ‘ Bob’ Morrison III , age 58 a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 in a local hospital. He was the son of the late Doris Elizabeth Moss and Robert Anthony Morrison Jr. ‘Bob’ as he was affectionately called attended Southside Church of God of Prophecy in Etowah, TN. Bob was a kind, free hearted, gentle, yet strong man, who loved fishing, hunting, and barbecuing. He was an avid Tennessee Vols Fan. For many years he worked as a roofer with his cousin. In his final days he worked at Jackson Furniture as a machine operator.
He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Don Derrick, Richard Brandon, Dwight Anthony, and Darren Keith Morrison. His grandmother, Velma Bowerman, step-father Dave Moss, step-sister Alma Moss, granddaughter DaShunna Latai Hall, and niece Jear’ea Morrison, and uncle Perry Bowerman Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Deshantee (Evie) Hall, Quincy Parris, and Ka’Michael Morrison all of Cleveland, TN. One step-brother Terry Moss of Cleveland, TN. Four step-sisters, Nadia, Trudy, Brenda, and Annette Moss all of Etowah, TN. Three aunts, Oliva Dyer, Carol Looney, and Pam Green all of Cleveland, TN., and one uncle Johnny Harrison all of Cleveland, TN. Sister-in-law, Karen Morrison-Edy of Cleveland, TN. Seven grandchildren, Dre’Azya, Carley, Ki’Shaunna, Ali’Shae Hall, Kaysen, and Raelynn Parris all of Cleveland, TN. Four nephews, Antonio, Brandon, Kameron, and Anthony Morrison, three nieces, Annette, Kayla, and Jada Morrison all of Cleveland, TN. Special friend, Shauna Kazy McDonald, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home – Cleveland, TN., with Brother Dennis Goodine delivering the eulogy. The body will lie -in-state one hour before the service at the funeral home, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Saturday. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
