Robert Eugene Bradley Long , “Sugar Daddy” age 73 of Athens, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 in a Sweetwater, TN healthcare facility.
He attended McMinn County High School and worked for some time as a grill cook at a local Athens eatery.
He is preceded in death by his father Robert E. Long and mother Mary Lee Bradley, one daughter, McCorya Long, one sister, Darlene Buchanan, and two brothers, Mikee Long and James ‘Jim’ Buchanan.
Survivors include his children, Anthony Long, Jamille Brown, Eric Brown, Maxamillion Long, and Rakiem Long. Three brothers, Robert E. Long and George Buchanan both of Athens, TN,, and Luther Buchanan of Madisonville, TN. Sisters, Kathy ( Donnie ) Arnwine, Gloria Versa, and Cecil (Dewey) Hurst all of Cleveland, TN., Mary S. Buchanan and Arlene Buchanan both of Athens, TN., and Olivia ‘Coco’ Noland of North Little Rock, Ark. Grandchildren, Kaemon Brown, Riley Bryant, Kennedy Schwartz, and Shalena Jasmine Brown. Step-mother, Minnie Long of Athens,TN., and great uncle, Burkett Witt of Athens, TN. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home- Athens, TN on Sunday, April 24, 2022, followed by words of comfort from Rev. Vant Hardaway.
