Princess Yolanda Brown-Jones

Princess Yolanda “Bunny” Brown-Jones , was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2022 in Cleveland, Tn. She was born on April 21, 1962 in Athens, TN., and was a lifelong native to the area, predominantly “Red Hill”. Princess loved to spend time with her family, especially her granddaughter Nyah.

She  also enjoyed spending time cooking, listening to music, and overall enjoying life. Her smile was so bright and laughter so contagious, that it could brighten even the darkest day. Princess was also an avid makeup connoisseur. She always kept her nails polished and makeup flawless.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Fuller and husband Michael Jones.

She is survived by her son, Princeton (Lashawna) Brown of Etowah, TN., her sister, Paula Brown (Jeff) of Cleveland, TN, nieces, Marquita (Shelby) Banks, and Temetra Brown of Athens, TN., special friend Bruce Parks of Cleveland, TN., as well as a host  of many dear friends, and loving family members.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Athens, TN., with Rev. Kevin Harris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Interment will follow the service at Hammonds Cemetery in Athens, TN.
