Patricia Linder

Patricia (Trish) Kay Linder, 44, Athens, TN transitioned home Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at a hospice facility in Chattanooga, TN. She is preceded in death by parents, William and Cynthia(Cindy) Mitchell, paternal grandparents Warren and Grace Mitchell and maternal grandfather, James Southern.
Patricia graduated from East Tennessee Technology Center of Athens, TN.
She worked as a CNA at the Athens Life Care Center and for several years was employed by the Pizza Hut of Athens.

She was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Niota, TN where she actively worked on the Usher Board and in the Loudon District until her health begin to decline throughout her remaining days with us.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, Shalena "Jasmine" (Jordan) McStraw, Daisha Westfield and Taniya Mitchell; one son, Demonte Linder, one grandson Clayton McStraw, one sister Tonia Brown, special niece Jessica Latham, maternal grandmother Margaret Southern( Chatt., TN), uncles, David(Pat) Southern (Rossville, GA), David(Valerie) Moore(Etowah, TN), James (Melissa) Mitchell and Elliott(Becky) Mithell, aunts, Laura Arden(Chatt., TN), Diana(Preston) Highsmith (Chatt., TN); devoted friends, Michelle Ferguson, Sonya Brabson, Greta Dills, Charles Ramsey, Jr., Thomas Billingsley, Jr., Corey Ferguson, Malcolm Goodner and a host of cousins and friends including Oak Grove Church Family. A special thank you to Dr. Coffey, of Athens, TN, Sally Donaldson of Hiwassee Mental Health and East TN Hospice of Chattanooga, TN., and a special “Thank you” to M.D. Dotson and Sons for their services.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 20th at 3:00 pm at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Niota, TN where Elder Terrell L. Mims is pastor and will render the eulogy.
