Michael Gail Sharp Sr. ‘Dab’ age 66 of Cleveland, TN departed this life on Wednesday morning February 13, 2019 in a local hospital. He was an avid hunter, and fisherman. He was a graduate of the 1970 class of Cleveland High School, and was employed at Excel in Cleveland, TN.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Christine Craigmiles, three brothers, Larry, James, and Marvin Sharp.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Sharp, two children, Tonisha(Marcus) Taylor, and Michael G. Sharp Jr.. Father, John W. Sharp Sr. Four step children, Dexter, Carlton, Adrius, and Stephanie Hall all of Cleveland, TN. Grandchildren, Sena, Maya, Gavin, and Lyndon, and thirty-two grandchildren, Three great-grandchildren, Markaivous, Jakias, and Naheen. Four brothers, John Sharp Jr., Allen Sharp, Irvin Sharp, and Patrick Sharp. Three sisters, Doris, Marcella, and Margaret Sharp. One uncle, Fred(Helen) Craigmile, one aunt Ann ( Richard) Powell. Two sisters-in-laws, Jackie Craigmiles, Edith(Charles) Blair Sr., all of Cleveland, TN. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and best friend Paul Person.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 18, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God with Pastor Martha Tibbs officiating. The family will receive friends one before the service at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
