Massio A. Looney

Massio Alexander Looney departed this life on Dec 27, 2024. He completed his certification and received his license as a certified truck driver from Tennessee College of Applied Technology, Knoxville, TN. He loved working on cars. As a child and young person he attended Lane Chapel A.M.E. Church with his grandmothers.

He is proceed in death by his mother Ester Moore, and father Ronnie (Pinto Bean) Looney, his adopted parents, Edward and Imogene Looney, and grandparents, Edward Moore and Grace Smith, brothers, Miquel Suber, and Kevin Barrett.

He is survived by his fiancé Andrew Wachter, two son Nickolas and Quincee. Brothers,Narvell (Lindsey) McDermott, James (Carol) Looney, Mark (Von) Looney, Guy (Tiffany) Looney. Nephew, Jaylen McDermott. Sisters, Tomah Paris, Patsey (Maurice) Pugh, Jacquline Looney. Uncles Ray Moore, Lee Roy Parks. Aunties, Sharon Bradley, Rebecca “Darla” Moore, and Auntie Momma, Tonya (Bill) McDermott , and great aunt Clara Ramsey. And a host of cousins and friends.

Massio will be deeply missed by all who knew and love him. Services will be held Monday, January 6, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home- Athesn, with Rev. Hugh Dixson officiating. Family will receive friends one hour before the service from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
