Mary Woods

Mary Ellen Woods age 75 of Cleveland, TN. passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018. She was born September 18, 1942 to the late Blanche Woods and John Wilkins. She is preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Nelson Artie Goldston, her brothers, Nathans Woods, Owen Woods, James Woods, her sister, Betty Jean (Robert) Mack.

Mary Ellen attended College High School and was a member of the 2 ^nd Street Church of Christ. She retired from Honeywell “Bendix” after 25 years of service. She appreciated the time spent with her daughters, with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers, her favorite flower was the Yellow Angel Trumpet.

Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca and Tabitha Woods, grandson, Stephon Woods, four great granddaughters, Maliyah, Layla, Leyasia Woods, and Kaylyn Millner, one great grandson, Kysean Jackson. Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives,, special friends, Lucille Madisongill, Merle Johnson, Jean Whaley, Ann Armstrong, and many friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the 2 ^nd Street Church of Christ 752 Howard Circle S.E. Cleveland, TN with Brother Ronald Simmons delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m.  Interment will be at Fort Hill Cemetery. Visitation by friends be Friday, January 26, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
