Margaret Louise Huguely Moran , 88 years young. She was born in Madison County Richmond, KY. She was the oldest child of eight born to Lucian and Madge Reed Huguely. She was educated in the Richmond, Kentucky City School System and graduated from Richmond high School as a Honor Student, fluent in French and a star athlete in women’s basketball. She retired after 18 years as Regional Director of Southeast Ohio Civil Rights Commission. She was member of the Dwelling place in Cleveland, Tennessee and 1 st Baptist Church West College Hill Cincinnati, Ohio where she stayed connected to the fellowship there.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lucian and Madge Huguely, husband Albert Fee Moran, brother Charles Huguely, sister Sammie C. Kennedy, brother-in-law Fred Williams, George Kennedy, sister-in-law Mary Blythe, Cora Huguely, Sue Huguely.
Cherished memories of well lived life will be constant in the hearts of her devoted daughter Antoinette Wearren Miles of Cleveland, Tennessee, granddaughter Luciana Ja’vonne Miles of Cleveland, Tennessee. Siblings, Elizabeth Williams, Lucian (Juanita) Huguely Jr., John Huguely, Gary Huguely, Julia Huguely.
She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, seven stepchildren, many other relative and dear friends in the Cleveland, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan.
Celebration of life service will be Tuesday June 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Dwelling Place 523 Urbane Rd NE Cleveland, Tennessee with Pastor Jamie Tuttle & Pastor Judy Jacobs Tuttle delivering the ministry word.
In compliance with COVID-19, social distancing will be observed and face mask are required. There will be a walk- through visitation one hour prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. at the Dwelling Place in Cleveland, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers the family requested that honorarium be made in Margaret Moran’s name to the Caring Place, P O Box 5334 Cleveland, TN 37320 or thecaringplaceonline.org.
Interment will follow on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio 45232 with final services officiating by pastor of First Baptist Church West College Hill, Rev. Charles King.
