Lynda Luzzette Curry Ervin passed on to heaven on Monday July 19, 2021 at her home in Spring City, TN.
She was born to the late George Timothy and Mary Frances Hickey-Curry on September 11,1967. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Shiloh Baptist Church.
After life changing experiences lead her to began her closer walk with God, she attended Euchee Chapel and later on leading Women's Prayer team.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George T. and Mary Frances Curry.
She leaves to cherish her memory an exceptional devoted husband of 32 years Gary L. Ervin; three wonderful children Brittany of Spring City, Timothy of Nashville and Atlanta of Knoxville. Two sisters Evelyn Sanders of Murfreesboro and Denise (Jeffery) Moore of Decatur, TN., Four brothers Stanley (Karen) Curry of Nashville, Clayton Curry of Dunlap, Darryl Curry of Dayton and Garland (Dikesha) Henley of Murfreesboro. A granddaughter London Lynise Ervin of Chattanooga, and a god granddaughter Khloe Higgins. Other sister Rose (Looty) Coulter, an adopted mom Patricia Horton, an aunt Beulah Hickey, an uncle RJ (Mary) Hickey. Special aunt Carolyn Griffin, and uncle James (Shirley) Oggs, along with tons of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of life service will be Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home- 502 Congress Parkway Athens, TN., with pastor Rev. Candice Dendy, Rev. Willie Ervin, and Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Then family will receive friends one hour before the service from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Petersburg Cemetery in Spring City, TN.
