Luciana Noland Traylor

Luciana O. Noland Traylor , age 45,  born to Charlotte Jane White & the late Russell C. Noland in Athens, TN. She was a graduate of Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She grew up as a member Light of Life International Ministries. She had a love & admiration for children, their personality, perspective & quality of life. She began her career teaching early childhood classes in Nashville, TN. She then taught English as a second language to students in China. She enjoyed spending time with Kevin, listening to music & Saturday car rides with “My Mommy.”

Leaving to cherish the memories are her beloved spouse Kevin Traylor of twenty-two years, of Atlanta, GA, their daughter Aniya Noland of Athens, TN, two godsons NahShon M. Arnwine of Smyrna, TN & Harlem Amiri Richardson Noland of Riverview, FL. Siblings Barry Noland of Athens, TN, Edward “Tony” Noland, Monique “Nikki” Noland, Robyn (Calissa) Noland of Athens, TN. Preceding her in death are her great grandparents Harvey A. & Jessie-Mae White of Athens, TN, Uncles Lawrence L. White, Donald L. White, Raymond C. White, Dwight E. White all of Athens, TN, Faye L. Noland from Etowah, TN, Greg Johnson of Athens, GA & her nephew Xavier A. Noland of Athens, TN. Those also cherishing her memory includes Anna L. Sullivan, Amy J. McCowan, Carla S. Davis and Harvey A. White all of Athens, TN, Canessa Johnson of Atlanta, GA, grandparents Willie & Vera Beal of Cincinnati, OH & William Noland of West Virginia. A host of cousins, nieces & nephews that adored her immensely. Her dear cousin & sister-friend Natosha R. Versa of Cleveland, TN. Her great Aunt Minnie M. Long & great-great Uncle Burkett L. Witt of Athens,TN

Celebration of Life services will be Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Light of Life International Ministries with Pastor Dr. Harold McCowan officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hammonds Cemetery in Athens, TN.
