Louvenia Thompson

Louvenia King Thompson age 96, born August 3, 1924 in Polk County, Tennessee to Phado and Laura McCleary King, passed Saturday, January 16, 2021 in a local Cleveland, TN., health care facility.

She was employed for many years at Cleveland State Community College working in the housekeeping division and also worked for the Wattenbarger family.

Louvenia was a very business minded person. She enjoyed music, especially the blues. She was a long time member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where she worked as the church clerk for many years.

She is preceded in death also by her husband Ralph Thompson.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her sisters, Ophelia R. Ball, Elizabeth King, and Linda Smart, along with many nieces, and nephews.

Graves side services will be Friday, January 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cleveland, TN., with Rev. Alfred Johnson officiating.
