Lorraine Dodd Blair

Lorraine was born February 3, 1966 in Cleveland, TN to Ms. Lorene Dodd and Mr. Stanley Hickey. She attended Cleveland High School, and worked in retail all of her life. Shiloh Missionary Baptist was her home church but she loved doing church from home. Lorrine was truly a blessing from God, who worked tirelessly to serve others and who was so full of life in spite of anything that was going on with her health. She watched over us all. Our guardian angel will be truly missed.

Lorraine was preceded in death by (father) Alonza Stanley Hickey, Willie Lee Dodd (Big Mama), Samuel Dodd (Big Daddy), Pauline Craven ( Granny), and many aunts and uncles.

Lorraine will be dearly missed by family and friends. She leaves behind her wife Sinetra Blair, bonus daughter- Dejah Blair, mother, Lorene Thompson, brother and sisters,-Stan Dodd, Eric ( Dana) Dodd, Ann Dodd, Wanda (Walter) Brewer, Stacy (Marshall) Butler, mother-in-law Gloria(Samuel) King of Chattanooga, TN, brother-in-laws, Joe(Angela) Blair of Evansville, IN, Lawrence Brewer of Chattanooga, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. J.D. Bruce officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Fort Hill Cemetery.
