Lorenzo Brown

Lorenzo “Dog” Brown age 56 of Etowah, TN died Tuesday in a Knoxville, TN hospital.

He was a graduate of McMinn Central High School. He put his focus on his children and being a provider for his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Shultz Brown, brother, Cedric Brown, Fredrick Brown, Adrian Jarrett and sister Cathy Moore.

Survivors include, one daughter, Ashley Brown of Athens, Tn., and one son Zachary Brown of Athens, TN, grandchildren, Karter MacLin and Kaliyah Jackson,  Sisters, Dora ( Lawrence) Newton, of Etowah, TN., and Colleen Brown, of Athens, TN, Sandra Brown, Priscilla Brown, and Sylvia Brown all of Etowah, TN Darlene Jarrett and Yvette Mooney both of Etowah, TN.   Brothers, Jeffery (Danita) Brown and Derrick Jones of Etowah, TN. Father. French(Betty) Jarrett of Etowah, TN.,along with several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home- Athens, Tn , Monday, June 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. The body will lie in-state at 12:00 noon . Interment will be at New Zion Cemetery in Etowah, Tn.
