In Loving Memory of Kellie Jeanette Bradford

Kellie Jeanette Bradford, was a beloved wife and a devoted mother and daughter, she passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024 at the age of 55. She was surrounded by her loving family, whose lives she had touched deeply with her boundless compassion, unwavering strength, and enduring love.

Born on April 13, 1969, Kellie was the cherished daughter of Gilda Roberta Cobb McDermott and the late Earl Lewis McDermott. Growing up, she was guided by the values of kindness and resilience instilled in her by her parents. She is preceded in death by her father Earl Lewis McDermott and her dear Aunt Dianne Harrison.

Kellie was a pillar of strength, love, and grace. As a mother, she nurtured her children with a selfless love and unwavering support, providing them with a home filled with warmth and laughter. Her role as a wife was marked by their deep partnership and most importantly their shared loved for the Lord, creating a lifetime of cherished memories with her dearest husband Barry.

Her legacy extends through the lives she enriched and the countless hearts she touched. She is survived by her husband, Barry Bradford, her mother Gilda Cobb McDermott, loving children, Cameron Mack, Kristen Martin, Alexis McDermott, Marcus Bradford, Demari Cox, Yiesha Bradford, Nathan Bradford, and Keno (Brittany) Bradford, a host of beautiful grandchildren, Silas Mack, Aaliyah Martin, Amiya Blackmon, Zoelani Blackmon, and ten other grandchildren that she truly adored. Her siblings Derrick McDermott, Earl Lewis McDermott Jr, and Nicole McDermott, Tracey, Kevin, and Dewight Bradford and Connie Garrett, they will carry forward her spirit and values. Her cherished Aunt Tina Harvey and uncle Alan Saunders, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. And her special friends Kim Deathridge and Tracey Bradford. Her passing leaves a void in our lives, but her memory will forever be a source of inspiration and comfort.

A celebration of Kellie’s life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Church of God Sanctified, with pastor Bishop, Dr. G.R. Hill  officiating. Family and friends will gather to honor her remarkable journey and share in the collective grief of her loss on Friday, evening from 4:00p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Cleveland, TN and 12:00 noon until 1:00 on Saturday before the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at St. Elmo Cemetery in Georgetown, TN.

Rest in peace, Kellie. You will be profoundly missed and forever remembered with love.
