Jubreel Versa

Jubreel A. Versa , age 48, of Nashville, TN , passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022. He was born to Gloria Versa & the late Robert Lawrence Versa Jr. of Cleveland, TN.

Jubreel was a 1993 graduate of McMinn Co High School and a graduate of Bethel University in McKenzie, TN where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management. He was currently employed at Elevance Health in Nashville, TN.  Prior to that he was an Instructional Assistant & Middle School Varsity Basketball Coach at Athens City Middle School. He was a member of Church Alive Ministries, and was an avid sports enthusiast & lover of music. He enjoyed Saturday morning dates with his high school sweetheart, Pasha Porter Versa & spending time with his sons.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents Robert E. Long Sr., Mr. & Mrs. Robert L. Versa Sr., his father Robert L. Versa Jr. of Cleveland, TN, Uncle Michael A. & Aunt Darlene Versa both of Athens, TN. His beloved great aunt Lucille Love of Athens, TN. His Uncles Robert E. Bradley & David M. Long of Athens, TN.

Leaving to cherish the memories are his beloved spouse of twenty-seven years Pasha Porter Versa, their sons Quintin & Miles Versa, all of Nashville, TN. His mother, Gloria Versa, sisters Natosha & Shuderra Versa all of Cleveland, TN  and like a brother, Dushawn (Jennifer) Versa of Knoxville, TN. Grandmother Minnie Long of Athens, TN, Uncle Robert E. Long Jr. of Athens, TN, Aunt Kathy (Donnie) Arnwine of Chattanooga, TN and Uncle Paul (Liska) Gaffney. His mother-in-law NaQuita Porter Hitchcock of Riceville, TN. Father-in-law and mother -in-law, Mr. & Mrs. James Baichoo of Dorchester, MA. Sister-in-laws Zelda (Marquis) Dotson of Knoxville, TN, Shelanda Anglin of Canton, MA, Chantel Baichoo of Bloomfield, CT & brother-in-law Dr. Shawn (Brenda) Baichoo of Richmond, TX and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews & dear friends that adored him immensely.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4:30pm – 6:30pm at M. D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN. Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. , at First Baptist Cleveland, 1275 NE Stuart Rd Cleveland, TN. , with pastor Frank Walker officiating.
