Johnny Smith

Johnny Lee Smith age 74 of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021. He was born March 31, 1946 to the late Beulah and Roy Smith. He is preceded in death by her parents, and his brothers, James A. Smith, Willie L. Smith, Richard L. Smith, and Roy Smith Jr. and a sister Hattie Mae Brown.

Johnny love spending time with his family. He was full of joy and laughter and was loved by many.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving sister, Lucille Massengill, who he loved so much. Special nieces, Amanda Dodd, and Deshonda Massengill. Five nephews, Charles Massengill, Anthony Massengill, and Edward Massengill, Thomas Brown, and Jeffrey Brown. Great nephews, Dewaun and Darrio Massengill, Steven Dodd Jr. and Tre Pierce. Special friend Robert Ware and many other relatives and friends, who will miss him very much.

In compliance to COVID-19 There will be a walk though visitation on Friday, February 19, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home- Cleveland, TN., with Brother Ronald Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at the Charleston Community Cemetery in Charleston, TN.
