Johnny M. Harrison, Sr.

Johnny M Harrison Sr. age 69 passed Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his residence in Cleveland, Tennessee.

He was a member of Mt. Eagle Baptist Church in Charleston, TN, and was formerly employed with the Bradley County Nursing Home as a CNA and a Funeral Assistant with M. D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home for over 25 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife Shelley Bowerman Harrison, parents Roosevelt and Alberta Harrison, brothers Berlee Harrison, James Harrison, Frank Harrison, Scott Harrison and Raymond Harrison.  Sisters, Cora Harrison, Rosa Douglas, Betty Harrison, Drucilla Jackson, and nephew Troy Harrison.

He is survived by daughter Quanda Harrison, sons Johnny Harrison Jr., Darrell (Candy) Harrison  all of Cleveland, TN. Sisters Gloria Hammonds, and Mary Frances Brown, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws Carol Looney, Olivia Dyer, brother-in-law Ed Lee Parris, niece Sandra Lee Harrison, special nephews Ivan Ray Jackson and Avis Moore, special friends James Cates, Anthony McMahan, William Wells and a host of other relatives and friends.

In compliance to COVID-19 There will be a walk though visitation on Saturday February 6, 2020 from 1:00- 6:00 p.m.

There will be a walk-through visitation one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home- Cleveland, TN., with Rev. Edward S. Robinson Jr.  officiating.  Interment will follow at the Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, TN.

M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home will continue to be in compliance with COVID-19, mask are required at all times, and we will monitor for social distancing.
