Jeffrey Stanley Brown, Sr. age 66, of Athens, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2022. He was employed with the Stove Factory for 16 years and with Johnson Control for 19 years. In his spare time Jeffrey enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and basketball.
Jeffrey was a graduate of McMinn Central High School in Englewood, Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude Shultz-Brown and Robert L. Brown. Three brothers, Cedric, Fedric, and Lorenzo Brown and sister Sylvia Brown.
He leaves to cherish his wife of 23 years, Danita Brown, daughters Stephanie Brown and Latanya Brown both of Athens, TN. Sons Jeffrey (Samantha) Brown of Cleveland, TN, Robert Brown of Charleston, TN, Jemiah Brown of Athens, TN. Step-children Dwayne Davis, Erica Davis, and Danisha Davis. Grandchildren Yasmeen Brown, Devante Moore, Keonte Moore, Jyree Brown, Deshonte Moore, and Quantez Brown, 5 great-grandchildren. Sisters Colleen Brown, Sandra Brown, and Priscilla Brown. Sister and brother-in-law Dora (Lawrence) Newton of Etowah, TN.
Visitation will be Saturday June 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. with the funeral service to immediately follow beginning at 12 noon in the chapel of M.D.Dotson & Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Service-Athens., with Elder Larry Saunders officiating. Interment will conclude at New Zion Cemetery, Etowah,TN.
