Jeanette Kimpson

Jeanette D. Kimpson age 58 of Clahoun, TN died April 20, 2019 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late John and Marietta Buckner. She is preceded in death by her sister, Rachel , daughter Mary, and brothers James, Dale and Mark Buckner. She  was retired from Flowers Bakery and was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Calhoun, TN.

Survivors include her husband, Ben Kimpson of Calhoun, TN., one daughter Diana Ford of Engelwood, TN. Two sons, Ted Millsap of  Athens, Bo Crawford(Angel) of Fort Hood Texas. Two sisters, Gracie(Michael) Hicks of Cleveland, TN and Karen Minnis(Brian), one brother, Ora Buckner(Jenny) of Meigs County, TN. Eight grandchildren, five step-children, Latray Kimpson(Sharon) of Athens, TN, Bengie Kimpson of Calhoun, TN., Corey Wright(Patricia) of Boston, Ma., Melinda Kimpson and Sabrina Abernathy of Athens, TN. Sister-in-laws, Danetta Wilson and Ruby Rogers, both of Sweetwater, TN., Helen McCroskey(Freeman) and Willie Jones, both of Atlanta, Ga., Mary Johnson(Jerome) of Kissemee, Fla., Linda Johns of Calhoun, TN. Brother-in-law, Joe Kimpson. Many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday,April 26, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at MT. Lebanon Baptist Church in Calhoun, TN with pastor Rev. George Williams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Internment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery.
