Jacquette Yvette Morris, 55, of Cleveland, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 28, 2023. She was born on June 10, 1968 to Charles and Edith Blair. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister mother, and grandmother. She took pride in being a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren who were her whole entire world and brought the most smiles and infectious laughter to her face. What she enjoyed most were the small things in life. She loved a comforting home, and relaxing drives in the county with her husband. Peace, relaxation, comfort and laughter were the keys to her happy life. She was also a lover of luxury. She loved to feel beautiful, she loved to smell beautiful, she loved to look beautiful and beautiful is what she was.
She is proceeded in death by her brother, Charles Edward (Junior) Blair, grandmother Margaret Irene Parker, grandparents David Blair and Francis Blair, and uncles David Blair, Robert ‘Sonny’ Blair, and aunts Debra Jarrett, Elaine Farmer, and Barbara Jean Blair.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 34 years, Steven P. Morris; children Quanta P. Blair (Cindy) Shawnta S. Morris and Imonta L. Morris (Alyssa) ; siblings; Anita M. Sinclair, Andrea O. Arnold; her loving parents Charles and Edith Blair. Adoptive siblings: Deangelo L. Farmer, and Joseph L. Farmer, grandchildren; Sophia J. Blair, Amari P. Blair, Makayla E. Morris and Maliyah A. Bailey, mother-in-law, Alice Gibbs of Charleston, TN, father-in-law, Garfield(Linda) Morris of Knoxville, TN. In addition to these she leaves behind several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with pastor Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes before the service at 12:30 p.m. at the church.
