Harold Woods

Harold L. Woods age 72 of Georgetown, TN. passed on to be with the Lord in a local Chattanooga, hospital. He was a member of St. Elmo United Methodist Church and a veteran in the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School where he played on the football team, and on the Athens Eagles team.
He is preceded in death by parents William and Mattie Woods, sisters, Frances Spence, Beatrice Woods, Hortense Williams, Alice Crawford, Mildred Bradford, Loyce(Edward) Whaley, and Alma Rose Woods. Brothers, Leonard(Lillie) Woods, Leander (Mae Katherine) Woods, Quentin Woods, William Woods, Triplet brothers, Ray, Roy, and Roland Woods.
He is survived by twin brother Howard L. (Estella) Woods, Chancel L. (Mary K.) Woods, and Booker T. (Elizabeth) Woods all of Georgetown, Tn. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends, and special friends of the Davis Retirement Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Elmo United Methodist Church in Georgetown, Tn. with minister Floyd Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends hour before the service at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at St. Elmo Cemetery. Visitation by friends will begin after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN.
