Grady Harris, Jr.

Grady Harris, Jr made his transition on Thursday, March 28, 2024. He was born on January 7,1959 to Grady & Marcella Harris.

He was preceded in death by his late parents and by his paternal and maternal grandparent, Levi and Maggie Harris, and George and Viola Collins.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife, Jaqueline Harris. His son, Sedrick Sanford of Chattanooga, Tn. Three daughters, Kizzy Smith of Bronx NY,
Takisha (Eric) Quinn of Calhoun Ga, and Tureko Reed of Chattanooga Tn. Stepsons Michael (Shnema) Elder of Cleveland Tn, Josue' (Yvonne) Herrera of El Paso Tx,
Jesus and Caleb Herrera of Cleveland Tn. One sister, Cheryl "Bonnie" Harris of Brooklyn NY, two brothers, John Hayes of Albany NY, and Terriun Harris of Chattanooga Tn. Brother-in-law,  David (Sharon) Piersaul of Cleveland Tn, Sisters-in laws; Paulette Goldston, Patricia Jarrett, of Cleveland, TN., Nancy (Thomas) Massengill and Shirley (Austin) Morgan of Georgetown TN. Two uncles, Robert(Mary) Harris and Clarence Harris of Chattanooga Tn. 27 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Special cousin Willie C. ’Boomie’ Harris of Chattanooga, TN and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Cleveland, TN, with Rev. J.D. Bruce delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
