Geraldine Whyte

Geraldine Latham Whyte age 75 passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 in Knoxville, TN. after struggling with multiple illnesses. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Howard Latham and Louise Latham. She was a member of Victory International Church in Athens, TN., and was employed by Cleveland City School in the transportation department.

She is survived by her children, son Timler Kerr and  daughter Phyllis Jean Latham and step-son Roderick Whyte. Two brothers, Samuel(Adriene) Latham, and Thomas ‘Tommy’ Latham.  Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, as well as many cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Victory International Church in Athens, TN with Pastor Angela Arnwine officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Internment will follow at Sweetwater Memorial Gardens.
