Gerald Marlowe Jones

Gerald Marlowe Jones, age 59, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN died Thursday September 27, 2018 at his home. He was raised up in and attended Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church. He loved exercising, motorcycles, Nascar and 18 wheelers and most of all his family. A 1979 graduate of Cleveland High School. He was employed with Whirlpool for 35 years until the onset of his illness. He is preceded in death by his parents William Issac Jones and Nora Mae Williams, sister, Gladys Townes, three brothers, Richard Jones, George Jones, and William Henny Jones, uncles and aunts, Thurman Williams, John Williams, Lee Williams, Carzaelle Brown, Lillian Hall, and Kathleen Lodge.

Survivors include seven brothers, and sisters, James Jones ( Bennie Mae) of Albany, Ga., Marcus Earl Williams (Louise), Garcia Marvorneen Davis, Marcia Williams, Marlene Doretta Aikens, Gisele Logan, and Shelvia Marcelle McCowan. One uncle, Vernon(Dean) Williams of Cleveland, TN., and one aunt, Dana Hurst of Buffalo, NY. Seventeen nephews, and five nieces. Special friends, Pam Belton of Cleveland, TN, and JoAnn McCarver and her children that he raised as his own William  McCarver, April McCarver Bramlett, and Phillip McCarver. Sister-in-law, Bobby Sue Jones, devoted niece
Josephine Brown,and Euca Jones, and a very special nephew, William ‘Bam’ Jones.
