Ethel Mae King

Ethel Mae King was born on October 15, 1955 in Athens, Tennessee and departed this life on March 10, 2022. She was a graduate of McMinn County High School Class of 1973, and received her associate degree in business from Cleveland State Community College. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Margaret Stone.
She is survived by her husband, Walter L. King, three daughters Carmen King of Georgia, Kim Rachal of Ohio, and Candice King of Virginia. Grandchildren, Ahmir King-Thomas, Taylor Rachal, Brennan (John) Lowder, K.J. Rachal, Torian Rachal, Kennedi Rachal, Evan Thomas, Caylan Thomas, and Kellen Rachal. Siblings, Sharon (James) Martin, Helen McMahan, Rebecca Porter, and Don Stone. Great-aunt Minnie Long and Great-uncle Burkett Witt and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon and a Celebration of Life service will begin at 12:00 noon at Light of Life Ministries in Athens, TN.
