Eric (Cheese) L. Crenshaw age 45 of Athens, TN transitioned peacefully on May 1, 2019 at his residence. He was the son of James L. Crenshaw of Etowah, Tn. He is preceded in death by his father James L. Crenshaw, uncle Frankie Smith and grandmother Daisy Smith. He was a graduate of McMinn Central High School.
Survivors include his mother Shirleen Crenshaw of Etowah Tn, two brothers, James V. Crenshaw of Etowah Tn, and Deryl Crenshaw (Pam McCleary) of Athens, Tn. Three sisters Melissa Smith of Athens, Tn, Aleshia (Sam) Bazel of Athens, Tn., Falon (Demetrius)Fields. Nephews Patrick (Callie) Willa and Savannah Smith of Englewood, Tn., Christopher Smith of Athens, Tn., Jamaya and Jakilen Bazel of Athens, Tn., Nathan Smith of Athens, Tn., A’zyon and David Fields both of Newnan, Ga., and niece Kimora Fields of Newnan,Ga. Two uncles Richard and Wendell Smith of Etowah, Tn. and close relatives Josh (Amber) Blair of Cleveland, Tn., Trevor Browder of Kennesaw, Ga., Jeffrey Browder of Athens, Tn., Brandon Fields of Cleveland, Tn., and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home-Athens, TN., with Rev. James Parris delivering the eulogy.
