Emmanuel was educated in the Bradley County School system and graduated from College Hill High School in 1960. He was raised up in the First Street Church of God. He moved to Toledo, Ohio where he married Mrs. Emma Williams- Anderson and became a union together and had six children. He worked for the City Of Toledo for many years and due to injury he retire early on. Emmanuel move around when he wanted to and did whatever his heart desire at the time. Remained there until his death at Regency Hospital in Toledo, Ohio
He was preceded in death by his parents Gideon and Lessie Anderson, sisters Melissa, Frances, Mary Ruth Anderson, Jeanette Goldston, Lesele Shopshire, Lula Mae Westfield, Willie Jean Johnson. Brothers Lucien ‘Andy’ Anderson, David Anderson, Gideon Anderson, and Denver Anderson
He leaves to mourn Mrs._Emma Anderson,_daughter Crystal Anderson, sons Rodney(Kelli) Williams, Bryant Williams, Anthony (Sierra)Williams, Vincent (Charlyne)Williams. Grandchildren and 1great child. Sisters Hazel Ramsey and Mattie Roberts, of Cleveland, TN, and Evelyn King of Chattanooga, TN. Many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D.Dotson and Sons Funeral Home Funeral with Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow the service at Fort Hill Cemetery.
