Louise Elizabeth Thompson

Louise Elizabeth Thompson age 83 of Cleveland, Tennessee passed Tuesday May 11, 2021 at her residence.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she served in the Senior Choir and was a dedicated Sunday School teacher for many years.  She loved her church.  She was employed at American Uniform and the UT Agriculture Extension Office where she retired.  She was a graduate of Howard High School as a valedictorian and later a graduate from Cleveland State College.

She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Thompson, daughter Marion Elizabeth Thompson, parents Pleas & Fannie Talley, sisters and brothers Mary Wells, Gladys Anthony, Vivian Thompson, Robert Talley, Pleas Talley, Eugene Talley, Ronald Talley,  uncle Martin Lee Garrett, son-in-law Warren Willis, daughter-in-law Cathy Thompson.

She Leaves to cherish her children Cecil L. (Wanda)Thompson Sr., Debbie Renee Willis, Marilyn A. Thompson, Anthony L. Thompson, Waymond L. (Jackee) Thompson Sr., all of Cleveland, TN,  Fourteen grand-children, Twenty-eight great-grandchildren, Sisters Edna Talley, Andree Wright of Chattanooga, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Homegoing services will be Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cleveland, Tennessee, with Pastor, Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Cleveland, TN

In compliance with COVID-19 there will be a walk-through visitation at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church from 2:30 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday., and on Saturday, at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m.
