Elizabeth Ann Barrett was born in Lafayette, Indiana on November 20, 1967 to Timothy O. and Patricia J. Barrett. On September 1, 2021 she departed from this life.
After graduating from Juneau High School in 1985 located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Elizabeth attended a local university in which she sought a degree in architecture.
In 2017 Elizabeth rededicated her life to Christ by being baptized at Dwelling Place Church International. As a member of Dwelling Place Church International Elizabeth served as an usher and greeter.
Living a life of simplicity, Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her family along with crafting, thrifting, and restoring furniture.
With five children to continue her legacy, Damiano (Cathy) Quintero-Barrett of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Letriana Santiago of Auburn, Washington, Aziza Williams, Martika Barrett and Sieda (Nikko) Barrett, and companion Edward Westfield all of Cleveland, Tennessee. In addition to her sister Josephine Brown of Charleston, Tennessee.
Precious memories remain of her with grandchildren, Jahniya Barrett, Jayden Barrett, Iyona Barrett, Elijah Williams, Marquis Williams, Na’riaha Williams, Maliah Pugh, George Santiago Jr., Journie Williams, Josiah Santiago, Khalil Kennedy, Aaliyah Santiago, along with the anticipated arrival of “bambino”.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Timothy O. and Patricia J. Barrett, sister, Denise M. Bond-Cantero and brother Timothy E. Barrett.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 12:00pm noon in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home in Cleveland, Tennessee with Pastor Jamie Tuttle officiating, with immediate family and close friends. A public walkthrough is scheduled from 11:00am to 12:00pm noon at the funeral home on Thursday. Interment will follow the service at Fort Hill Cemetery.
Due to the severity of Covid19 within our area, social distancing and face coverings are required. Also please be advised that a repast will not be available following the service.
