Craig Winton

Craig Allen ‘Beaver’ Winton age 58 of Athens, TN passed Tuesday, December 18, 2023 in a Cleveland,TNhospital. He spent many years with his father working in the family business, “Winton Logging,” and as a laborer in the manufacturing industry. He is proceeded in death by his father Edward Eugene Winton. His grandparents John and Lastie Winton and August and Rosa Thompson.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Elizabeth Winton, his brothers Greg(Quita) Winton and James Winton. His six daughters Kenisha McCleary, Tieyera(Devon) Johnson, Brittany Porter, CraShonda Winton, Janasia Winton, and Zoe Cooper. His twelve grandchildren, Zayvion, Sevyn, Royce, Aurora, Jakolbie, Damikah ,Jayden, Keiona, Demarius, Jaymiah, Cordez Jr, and Khadi.
Special family for 11 years, Kari Cooper and children, A.J Hall, Andre Hall, Jazmyne Cooper, and Jeffery Cooper. His uncles Thomas(Wanda) Thompson, Calvin Thompson, and aunt Teresa(Sherman) Huff.
Paul bearers: James Latham, Jakolbie McCleary, Tim Thompson, Greg Kimpson, Brian Dailey, DemikahMcCleary.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home- Athens, TN,   internment will immediately follow at Hammonds Cemetery with Minister Mae Hamonds officiating.
