Corey Ladell Taylor age 47 of Cleveland, TN died Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in a local hospital.
He was a graduate of the Cleveland High School class of 1990 and a graduate of the Virginia College with a degree in Cosmetology.
He loved to cook, spend time with family and "all things hair."
He is preceded in death by his father David Swafford, his maternal grandparents Thelmer and Louise Finley, paternal grandparents Elise and Leonard Swafford, two brothers, Wilbur Taylor Jr., and James Taylor, and aunts, Beatrice Sharp, Cavalier Martin, and Emma Cox.
Survivors include his loving mother Helen Bowerman of Cleveland, TN, five brothers, Andy (Natacha) Hudgins, Reagon (Nicole) Hudgins, Christopher (Martina) Taylor all of Cleveland, TN., Roy (Gabriella)Taylor and Ray Taylor both of Summerville, Ga.
Six sisters, Phyllis(Ervin) Hickey, Ramona Brown, Monona Brown, Hiawatha Brown, Tracey Taylor and Lanette Blair all of Cleveland, TN. and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
