Charlotte Inman

Charlotte Wilson Inman age 92 passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at her home in Athens, TN. She was born Madisonville, TN and was the oldest of six children of her parents William and Flossie Wilson. She was a homemaker for many years and in 1974 was the driving force and founder of the McMinnCounty Senior
Center where she was the Executive Director. Her persistency caused the senior center to grow from its beginnings at Clem Street as part of the Athens Housing Authority to a spacious facility at the corner of Parker Street in Athens, TN.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Clancy McClellan Inman of Athens, TN, two daughters, Brenda Joyce Fraley of Dayton, Ohio, and Beverly Jean Inman-Ebel of Chattanooga, TN., eight grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one brother, Howard Wilson of Knoxville, TN.
On lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to McMinn County Senior Center in memory of Charlotte Inman.
