Calvin Roberts age 64 also known as ‘Bo Didley’ passed Saturday, August 1, 2020 in Athens, TN. He attended Cooke High School and was brought up at Mt.Pleasant Baptist Church in Athens, TN. He was also a member of the National Guard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, June Roberts and Eula Lee Neil, sisters, Brenda Roberts, Kathy Roberts, Rosalyn Arnwine, and Emily Henry.
Survivors include his wife Kathy A. Roberts of Athens, TN. Sisters, and brothers to carry on his memory Sheila Simpson of Sweetwater, David (Audrey) Neil of Athens, and Felicia Johnson of Sweetwater, TN. Several nieces and nephews. Five stepchildren, Jessica Smith, Crystal Jones, Anthony Moore, Terry Moore, Eric Moore and thirteen grandchildren. Special friend, Jackie Warfield, and Margaret Wall.
Memorial services will be held Monday, August 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home with special cousin, Steve Simpson delivering words of comfort.
