Brandon Forney

Mr. Brandon DeSean Forney age 32, stepped into glory on Sunday February 21. 2021 in Athens, TN. He was born April 12, 1988 in Galveston, TX. Brandon obtained most of his education in TN graduating from McMinn County High School in 2007. Brandon loved music, those who loved him most know the world has lost a gifted drummer who always walked to his own beat. He never met a stranger.

Brandon leaves to cherish his memory and wit, his devoted mother First Lady Letitisha (Pastor Larry W.) Saunders, his father Mr. Thomas (Christina) Forney Jr. Loving their father the most were Brandon’s girls Ms. Kiana Griffin and the “girlers” Hayden, Kennedy  and  Izabella Forney. His wife Kristyn Forney and her children LeDavion, DeMaurion & Matthew. Cherished memories will be shared by his sister Diamond (Devin) Mendes and their children Samaria, Zion and Zyair, his bossy baby sister J. Ladaysha Saunders, his sister Shareva (Byron) Forney-Fits and his little sister Tatiana Forney. His maternal great grandmother Nell Roy, maternal grandmother Doris Jackson. His fraternal grandfather Thomas (Pam) Forney Sr., his mother in love Ms. Susan Anders

Brandon’s life will be missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of life long family, friends and church family.

Preceding him in death was his brother Leon Kentrelle Heard and Aunt Shitonya Jackson-Pringle.

A celebration of life will be on Saturday February 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 400 McMurrey Drive Tyler, TX 75702. J.R. Harmon Undertaking Company will handle all TX services. M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home – Athens, Tennessee gave professional and personal care in TN.
