Beulah C. Oggs age 90 of Sweetwater, Tennessee peacefully passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at National Healthcare Corporation in Athens, Tennessee. She was married to Melvin Hugh Gene Oggs on May 17, 1946.  He preceded her in death May 18, 1996.  She was also proceeded in death by her parents Roy and Ethel Lenoir and granddaughter Kimberly Y. Oggs, and 6 siblings, Frankie Lenoir, Charles Lenoir, Clairine Edwards, Margaret Upton, Ivon Lenoir and Reba Lenoir.

She attended High Point School in Sweetwater, Tennessee and Cook High School in Athens, Tennessee and was a lifelong member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.  She was a dedicated servant of the Usher Board, Mt. Bethel Choir, and District Choir. She also served as the Head of the Kitchen Committee.

She leaves to cherish her memory 2 Sisters, Ethel McCowan and Gladys Wells.  1 Sister-In-Law Pat Lenoir, 9 children:  Donald Oggs, Melvin Oggs (Dean Oggs), Michael Oggs, Debra Ann Edwards (Wayne Edwards), Dennis Oggs (Santoshia Oggs), Margaret Annette McCowan (James McCowan), Gwendolyn Shields (James Shields), Richard Oggs,  and Tracy Latham (Darryl Latham).  19 Grandchildren:  Melissa Oggs Nelson, Cassandra Smith, Angie Oggs, Aundrea Oggs, Erika Oggs, Aaron Smith, Darron Smith, DeShane Oggs, Eric Oggs, Christopher McCowan, Anastasia McCowan, Carissa Latham, Dustin Latham, Johnivon Oggs, Craig Latham, Denisha Oggs, Donald J. Oggs, Alex Hyatt, and Taylor Oggs.  25 Great Grand Children and 10 Great, Great Grandchildren. Loving friends Elder and Mrs. Lloyd Jones.

Homegoing and funeral services will be Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church in Sweetwater, TN with pastor Elder Lloyd Jones delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends that day from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Memorial Gardens. Visitation by friends will begin on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
