Betty J. Cunningham, age 88 of Cleveland, TN passed Friday, May 21, 2021 in a local health care facility. Betty attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and Green’s Chapel Church in Charleston, TN. She enjoyed knitting and doing arts and crafts.
She is preceded in death by her parents Sylvester Blair and Alice Odella Spriggs Blair, husband, Berry Cunningham, brother, John William Blair, nephew Myron C. Blair, and great granddaughter, Ameyah Brewton.
Survivors include one daughter, Deljuanna Brewton of Cleveland, TN., niece, Valarie Porter of Cleveland, TN., two brothers, Paul S. Blair of Cleveland, TN., and Albert (Carol) Blair of New York. Two nephews, John W. Blair Jr. of North Chicago, Ill., and Santana Blair of Cleveland, TN. Grandchildren, Alease Brewton, and Andria(Pamela) Brewton all of Ill. Two great-nieces, Nakia (Bethel)Hendricks of Cleveland, TN., and Jamie (Terrance) Constant of Cleveland, TN.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 at 12:00 noon. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home- Cleveland, TN with minister Carol Westfield offering final words of comfort.
In compliance with COVID-19, social distancing will be observed and face mask are required. There will be a walk- through visitation one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
