Ayanna Roberts

Ayanna Fatima Roberts, age 49, passed Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and worked for over twenty-five years at Heil Trailer Company in Athens, TN.

She was a graduate of McMinn County High School, class of 1993 along with her other subjects she studied  and became proficient in welding.

She is preceded in death by her mother Emilie Henry and father Tommy Henry, and brother Tony Henry, grandparents, Mary Henry, Melvin Henry, and Mildred Marie Long, great aunt Frances Brown, aunts, Rosalyn Arnwine, Brenda Roberts, and uncles Tony Long, and Calvin Roberts.

Loving memories  will be cherished by her son Ahsante R. Smith of Athens, TN., grandchildren, Da’Monie Jackson, Kane Smith, Zaden King, and Easton Walls, sisters, Sciarra Henry, Le’Tima Henry,  Laucretia Looney, Martina Henry, Tomikia Scudder, and brothers Devonte Henry, Kadia Henry all of Athens, TN. One aunt, Angela  ‘Pete’ Long of Athens, TN. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral  services will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D.Dotson and Sons Funeral Home-Athens, with Rev. William Ryan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m.

Interment will follow  the service at Hammonds Cemetery.
