Angela Oggs

Angela Letrice Oggs age 51 of Sweetwater, Tennessee passed away Tuesday January 31, 2023 at Sweetwater Hospital in Sweetwater, Tennessee.
She was a graduate of Sweetwater High School and was a lifelong member of First United Church of Christ in Sweetwater, TN. She worked at Sweetwater Hospital as a cook for twelve years and was well known for her famous homemade lasagna.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Melvin Leroy and Earnest Dean Oggs, a son, Jimiese Lequann Mc Dermott, a daughter, Jasmine Lavonn Oggs, three grandsons, Jayden Lequann Knox, Zaylen Tashon McDermott,  and Javion Lyric Oggs, two granddaughters Kyleigh May Lowry, Aliyanna Sharee McDermott, best friend Tamika Bradley, and DeShawna Hendricks, goddaughter, Alesha Sharp, god-sister Vanea Oggs and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Homegoing and funeral services will be Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at First United Church of Christ in Sweetwater, TN with Pastor Nicholas Jones delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 noon until 1:30p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Memorial Gardens. Visitation by friends will begin on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
