Allen McCamy Jarrett age 65 was born April 1, 1954 in Cleveland Tennessee to the late James and Mildred Blair-Jarrett.

Allen entered enteral rest Sunday afternoon, March 15, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Jim and Lena Hughes-Jarrett, Floyd and Francis Batts-Blair; his sisters, Cornelius (Charlie) Walton, Marcella (Otis) Lane, Joann (James) Parker; brother, Harry Jarrett; his aunts, Ruth Jarrett, Lucille Blair-Mills; uncles, Paul, Thomas, Gaines, and Robert Blair; niece, Patricia White; nephew, Charlie Walton Jr.

Allen join Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church as a young child. He attended Norman Chapel, North Lee Elementary and College Hill High School. He joined the United States Marine Corps and was an Alabama Crimson Tide Football Fan. Allen was the father of five children, he was married to Patricia Elder and to this union was born three girls. He carried a charm about himself that made others willing to be his friend and he had a way of persuasion, that made you willing to give him whatever he ask. Allen’s happiest time was having his children and grandchildren around and spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Tara, Tonia, and Tamika Elder, and Valerie Waldroup; his son, Tyrone Beck; grandchild, Kametra Elder, Detorie Walker, Jadarius Hudgins, Breasha Elder and Makavious Constant, Tianna and Taniah Beck; great grandchildren, Keylen and Greyson; his sisters, Charlotte George, Nena George, Phyllis Tucker, Reba Cox, Carolyn Dunn, Debbie (Johnny) Pitner; his brothers, Wayne (Sharon) Jarrett, Kenneth Jarrett; aunt, Magnolia Blair; in-laws, Marvel Jarrett, Gloria Jarrett, Paulette Goldston, Evangelist Shirley (Austin) Morgan, Nancy (Thomas) Massengill, David (Sharon) Piersaul, Jacqueline (Grady) Harris; (many many nieces, nephews; grand, great grand nieces and nephews; special friends, Frederick “Butch” Westfield, Kathy Billingsley, and Brian Melton; his extended Georgetown family; other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends Sunday, March 22, from 1:30p.m. until 2:00p.m. at the M.D. Dotson Funeral Home Chapel, 165 Lang Street Cleveland, Tn . Reverend Alvin Steward, Officiating, Evangelist Shirley Morgan will be the Eulogist.
