Alice Wilkerson

Alice Lucille Wilkerson age 91 of Sweetwater, TN passed away at home with her devoted daughter-in-law Mari Wilkerson.

She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Wilkerson Sr., her father Carlton Lenoir and mother Frankie Lee Upton, sister Addie Jane Upton, brother Clarence Oma Upton, daughter Aisha Jamellah, and son Van J. Wilkerson.

Alice was a member of North Point Presbyterian Church in Sweetwater, Tn. She volunteered in numerous activities such as, she delivered books to children in the community. She was an Eastern Star of the Indiana Chapter.

Alice loved to do gardening, canning, reading, planning cruises and just anything to keep the dust from settling under her feet.

Alice leaves to cherish her memory, one son Carl (Rita) Wilkerson Jr., daughter-in-law Mari G. Wilkerson. Two sisters, Martha Lee Burton and Katie (Neal) Jones, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Devoted caregivers, Elaine Duggan and Kenda Greene.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 12 noon in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home- Athens, TN with Rev. Ivy Smith delivering the eulogy.
