Margie Mickey Ramsey

Margie Brown Ramsey age 68 formerly of Cleveland, Tn. died at her residence in Chattanooga, TN. on Thursday March 28, 2017. She was a member of Church of Christ, and enjoyed helping others.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather and grandmother Luke and Jenny Mack, her father Jim Brown, three brothers, infant Brown, Tony Brown, and James Brown, and her first grandson Dexter Lovelace Jr., special friend Julius Bailey

Survivors include two sons, Dexter Brown and Johnny (Margaret) Ramsey all of Cleveland, TN., and one daughter Maria Ramsey (Ivan) of Chattanooga, TN. Mother Margaret Brown of Cleveland, TN, aunt Daisy Phillips of Cleveland, TN. Four brothers, Thomas Brown, Voncell Brown, Charles Brown, and Eugene Brown all of Cleveland, TN. Two sisters, Joann(Gerald) Jones and Johnny Bell Brown both of Cleveland, TN. Grandchildren, Landon Clemmons, Lashaunta Thompson, Thaddeus Ramsey, Isaiah(Aliyah) Parris of Cleveland, TN., Shakira Ramsey, Chris Ramsey, Zikira Ramsey, and Ivan Hill Jr. of Chattanooga, TN. Eight great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Special friends Michael Jackson of Chattanooga, TN., Terry Moss, Pat Ware and Dell Donahue, and Dawn Brown all of Cleveland, TN.


Services of loving memory will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home with pastor Martha Tibbs delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
