Joseph H. Mizell age 76 of Cleveland, Tn. originally from N. Charleston, South Carolina, member of The C.O.G. Jerusalem Acres. He was known as Evangelist Joseph H. Mizeil. He was a missionary, a bishop of the church, one of twelve apostles, World R.E.A.P. for Christ founder.
He established churches, orphanages, clinics, a school in Haiti West Indies, and a world missionary. He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers.
Survivors in his wife, Arthella J. Mizell of Cleveland, TN., four daughters, Dawn L. Vinson of Cleveland, TN., Rebecca F. (Michael) Kramer of Cleveland, TN., Jodell ( Travis) Gibson of Cleveland, TN., and Cassandra Kozachenko of Dallas, TX. Two sons,Joseph R. ( Carla) Mizell of Cartersville, Ga., Cordell W. ( Sissy) Mizell of Piedmont, South Carolina.
15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a host of adopted Haitian family members, a special friend, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of God Jerusalem Acres, with Pastor David Kramer officiating and Minister Raymond McDonald delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m before the service. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery Dorchester, South Carolina.
